Reimagining how we discover new books

One day some friends and I - all self-confessed book lovers - bonded over how frustrating it was to find new books. Our options felt confined to marketing campaigns, shopping algorithms, and even our own biases. We decided to band together and create an application that would bring back the wonder of browsing.

Find a happy medium between technology and books and people

This project grew out of our interest in HarperCollins' design competition, Book Smash. We wondered whether the contest prompt was too narrow and set out to research the problem space ourselves.
